This fresh strawberry sauce is perfect for drizzling over cheesecake!
- Strawberry 250gr
- Sugar 50gr
- Combine strawberries and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring. The mixture will sizzle for a while, but then juice will begin to form. Continue stirring; mash a few strawberries with a wooden spoon or heat-proof spatula to help produce the syrup. Cook until sauce thickens, about 8/10minutes.
- Pour it into a fine mesh strainer over a bowl, then use a spoon to stir it and help it strain through the mesh.
